DNO - The People's Committee of Da Nang City has issued Decision No. 410/QD-UBND dated February 29, 2024, on canceling the investment plan for the project to expand Hoa Xuan Bridge and its approach roads.

Accordingly, based on the submission from the Department of Transportation, the City People's Committee decided to cancel the investment plan for the project to expand Hoa Xuan Bridge and its approach roads.

The reason is that the project is no longer in accordance with the 2019 Architecture Law and Decision No. 359/QD-TTg dated March 15, 2021, of the Prime Minister on adjusting the General Planning of Da Nang City until 2030, with a vision to 2045.

It is known that the Hoa Xuan Bridge Expansion Project and its approach roads were approved by the Hanoi People's Committee in Decision No. 2455/QD-UBND dated May 5, 2017.

The project aims to improve the load-bearing capacity of the bridge, the traffic flow across the bridge and approach roads, create a synchronized technical infrastructure in the area, and serve the transportation needs of the people.

The investment scale for constructing the new bridge involves a centerline distance of 12.8m downstream from the centerline of the existing bridge, with a bridge width of B = 10.5m + 1x2.0m + 0.25m = 12.75m, a structure consisting of 7 spans; and a total bridge length of 303.4m.
