Cancel the investment policy for the Hoa Xuan Bridge Expansion Project and Approach Roads

DNO - The City People's Committee issued Decision No. 410/QD-UBND dated February 29, 2024 on canceling the investment policy of the Hoa Xuan Bridge Expansion Project and the bridge approach road.

Accordingly, based on the Proposal of the Department of Transport, the City People's Committee decided to cancel the investment policy of the Hoa Xuan Bridge Expansion Project and the bridge approach road.

The reason is that the project is no longer in accordance with the 2019 Law on Architecture, and Decision No. 359/QD-TTg dated March 15, 2021 of the Prime Minister on adjusting the Master Plan of Da Nang City to 2030, with a vision to 2045.

It is known that the Hoa Xuan Bridge Expansion Project and the bridge approach road have been approved by the City People's Committee in Decision No. 2455/QD-UBND dated May 5, 2017.

The project aims to improve the bridge's load-bearing capacity, traffic flow through the bridge and approach roads, and create synchronous technical infrastructure in the area to serve people's travel needs.

The scale of investment in building a new bridge with a centerline 12.8m downstream from the centerline of the existing bridge with bridge width B = 10.5m + 1x2.0m +0.25m = 12.75m, structure including 7 spans; total bridge length 303.4m.
