According to information from Ninh Binh Provincial Police, at around 3:45 p.m. on June 1, a fire broke out in the outdoor scrap storage area of HKB - Hoa Lu Paper Joint Stock Company, Van Phong Industrial Park (Nho Quan District, Ninh Binh Province) due to hot weather, high temperature, strong wind, and the area containing a lot of scrap such as cardboard and scrap paper.
Upon receiving the news, the Fire Prevention, Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Department - Ninh Binh Provincial Police mobilized maximum forces and vehicles to quickly arrive at the scene to carry out fire fighting and rescue measures.
Due to the hot weather, the area where the fire broke out was full of waste paper, so at around 10:30 p.m. the same day, the fire was still raging, but had been contained and prevented from spreading.
According to initial information, the fire did not cause any human casualties. Other property damages have not been counted or clarified.
