Ho Chi Minh City has just been honored at the TPO BEST 2025 Awards Ceremony in the Tourism Marketing category thanks to the "Find Your Vibes" campaign, affirming the city's position as a dynamic and creative destination on the international tourism map.

On September 5, at the Closing and Awarding Ceremony within the framework of the 12th General Assembly of the Tourism Promotion Organization for Global Cities (TPO), Ho Chi Minh City officially received the Tourism Marketing Award. This award recognizes sustainable and distinctive marketing initiatives that contribute to enhancing the value of destination brands for member cities.

The "Find Your Vibes" campaign was highly appreciated for its creative storytelling, global reach and effective coordination with strategic partners. The campaign exploited the dual identity of Ho Chi Minh City: A city with both traditional heritage and modern vitality.

Speaking at the award ceremony, Ms. Nguyen Thi Anh Hoa, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, said: "This award is a testament to the consensus between management agencies, businesses and the community in building quality products, effective marketing campaigns, and spreading the image of Ho Chi Minh City to international friends."

A key highlight of the campaign is the journey to discover 50 tourism icons, reflecting 50 years of remarkable development of the city. From historical structures such as Ben Thanh Market, Independence Palace to modern structures, all blend into a picture that is both traditional and dynamic.

50 tourism icons - 50 years of development


50-year logo - heart shape combining two colors blue and orange, symbolizing peace , aspiration, creativity and youthful vitality of the city.

Along with Ho Chi Minh City, this year the Tourism Marketing Award also honored Taiping (Malaysia) and Taichung (China). The presence of Ho Chi Minh City in the pioneering urban group further affirms the city's position in the region and the world.

As one of the founding cities of TPO since 2002 and the only member of Vietnam holding the role of Executive Board Member, Ho Chi Minh City has actively promoted the image of the destination, especially in key markets of Northeast Asia and Southeast Asia.

The TPO BEST 2025 award is not only an international recognition, but also opens up a great opportunity for Ho Chi Minh City to continue to make breakthroughs, aiming to become the leading tourism center in the region.
