Big ward, big potential

With a natural area of ​​over 38 km² and a population of nearly 50,000 people, Phuoc Hoi is currently one of the largest wards in Lam Dong province after the merger. Positioned on the national coastal development axis, Phuoc Hoi possesses irreplaceable strategic advantages in the process of economic restructuring of the province.

Comrade Ton That Muon - Secretary of Phuoc Hoi Ward Party Committee said: Planning management in the fields of trade, services and tourism has always been of interest; the ward focuses on completing trade and service infrastructure, creating a foundation for the development of modern and friendly tourism. Currently, the ward has about 1,200 trade and service establishments, an increase of more than 400 establishments compared to 2020. The fields of restaurants, hotels, consumer goods, electronics, freight and passenger transport have all developed strongly, meeting the increasing needs of people and tourists.

On the other hand, in recent times, Phuoc Hoi has focused on investing in urban beautification associated with the development of coastal tourism infrastructure. Many roads have been upgraded and expanded such as Nguyen Du, Le Minh Cong, Ben Chuong Duong, Truong Vinh Ky with new drainage, sidewalk and lighting systems, creating a spacious and modern appearance. Traditional markets such as La Gi market and Cam Binh market have been repaired and upgraded, contributing to stabilizing trading activities and creating commercial civilization. The Phuoc Loc Market project in the La Gi sea encroachment residential - commercial - service area of ​​Vi Nam Company is completing 95% of phase 1 infrastructure, promising to be a new development highlight of the area.

At the same time, tourist accommodation facilities have increased rapidly, currently there are 30 facilities with about 900 rooms, serving tourists coming to visit and relax. New investment has been made in entertainment, dining, motels, hotels, etc., contributing to creating a diverse and attractive tourism space.

Spearhead in economic development

Phuoc Hoi is gradually realizing Resolution 06 of the Provincial Party Committee on tourism development to 2025, with a vision to 2030. In the area, 20 tourism projects have been approved for investment, of which 3 projects are under construction and 5 projects have come into operation, concentrated in the coastal area of ​​Cam Binh, which is considered the "heart" of the local tourism economy. Besides infrastructure development, the ward focuses on rectifying Cam Binh community tourism activities, ensuring safety, environmental sanitation, stable prices and civilized tourism order.

The ward Party Committee also clearly identified the goal in the coming time to effectively exploit potentials, taking trade - services - tourism as the pillar of development, associated with digital transformation and green economic model, circular economy. Tourism is considered a key economic sector, with the orientation of building unique products associated with coastal landscapes, indigenous culture and experiential agriculture .

The ward will also increase investment attraction from capable and reputable enterprises; encourage the development of smart services, tourism logistics, and the application of artificial intelligence (AI) in destination promotion, tourist guidance, and tourism data management. At the same time, Phuoc Hoi continues to focus on landscape conservation, preserving the marine environment, ensuring security and order, and building a civilized and friendly tourism culture.

The locality also focuses on mobilizing investment capital to upgrade urban traffic infrastructure, build coastal public spaces, and create ecological - tourism highlights combined with community activities.
