Female cybersecurity director conquers SSEAYP 2026

The 9X girl is currently the Marketing Director of VinCSS, a cybersecurity company, excitedly showing off that she will be on the Nippon Maru ship as a representative of Vietnam in the Ship for Southeast Asian and Japanese Youth Program (SSEAYP) 2026.

Combining dry techniques with the ability to tell stories in media and marketing expertise makes the story of cyber security as close, light as the breath of life, easy to apply. I want the world to know that Vietnam is not inferior on the map of education , technology and cyber security.

Realizing a 10-year dream

Quynh Anh grew up in the fishing village of Xom Day ( Hai Phong ), where she said people around her considered education a luxury. Poverty interrupted her studies, but Quynh Anh's mother always reminded her daughter, "If you want to change your life, you have to study." She said she felt sad when she saw many children from her hometown growing up in the same old cycle, not caring much about studying.

Once, my parents were given a bottle of western medicine but didn't know what it was. My mother sighed: "I wish there was someone in this house who knew English." That sentence became the motivation for Quynh Anh to learn English. At that time, she still had trouble speaking l and n, so her friends often criticized her when speaking English.

She is determined to improve because she has had the dream of boarding the SSEAYP ship Nippon Maru for 10 years now.

That time, when she went to her neighbor's wedding, Quynh Anh met her childhood friends. Many of them had children, but some went to school, some did not.

The thought flashed through her mind, "There's still so much to do." So she decided to apply for SSEAYP 2026 and was overwhelmed when she received an email from the selected candidate, saying that she was brave and persistent!

Having prepared all the relevant things, of course, technology is indispensable, which is her expertise, but Quynh Anh said that the keyword "Beauty" that the Vietnamese delegation brought to the program was not beyond the keyword "Beauty". How can we spread the image of Vietnamese people, culture and intelligence along with beautiful actions that impact the community, bringing sustainable values because each delegate in the delegation is like an ambassador of the country on the voyage of this ship.

Proving "Make in Vietnam" network technology

Although she had a solid technology background during her college years and had participated in software development, she said she was still "disillusioned" because in-depth knowledge of network security was too difficult and new. Many people still think that network security is a luxury, while in fact it is present in all familiar operations when accessing WiFi, surfing the web, and chatting online.

"Anyone who connects to the Internet needs cybersecurity to protect themselves and their loved ones in the digital space. I want the story of cybersecurity to become easy to understand, close and popular to everyone," Quynh Anh said.

Quynh Anh is still called "Tech Lady", a rare female expert appearing in spaces and events about cyber security because it is assumed that it is a man's business. She said she was given the opportunity to learn deeply about technology with colleagues, company leaders and the group that supported her a lot.

She is the only female expert participating in the work to establish a cooperative relationship between VinCSS (Vietnam) and the Singapore Technology, Defense and Engineering Group, and is also the only Vietnamese female speaker at the Taiwan online cybersecurity conference Cybersec Global.

This April, Quynh Anh was a speaker at the AI Agent event, sharing the topic "How to avoid self-destruction when using AI Agent" and ended her presentation with a rap song combined with an animated video that made the audience quite excited.

The publication of a report on the authentication experience on the banking application of Quynh Anh and her company within 24 hours attracted thousands of readers from many countries. Whenever she has the opportunity to step up to international forums, Quynh Anh always proudly emphasizes that she has fully benefited from the Vietnamese education system, actively spreading "Make in Vietnam" technology and cybersecurity solutions made by Vietnamese people with Vietnamese intelligence.

Director of Technology and Business Development Nguyen Trung Tin commented that Quynh Anh is a dynamic, enthusiastic, eager-to-learn girl who constantly improves her specialized knowledge. "Women working in the technology field are rare, and holding leadership roles are even rarer, but Quynh Anh has made constant efforts to improve her skills, learn and apply them effectively to her work," said Mr. Tin.

MV in collaboration with famous musician

Quynh Anh revealed that this year's MV brought by the Vietnamese delegation to SSEAYP marks the first time it has collaborated with a famous musician, the person behind many "hits" about Vietnamese beauty that have resonated both domestically and internationally.

As the main person in charge of this theme MV and the national performance night of the Vietnamese delegation on the Nippon Maru ship at SSEAYP 2026, she aims to turn that art night into an eye-catching performance that must leave a deep impression on international friends.

Professional diving certificate

Learning to dive is how Quynh Anh improves her expertise and skills in a job that requires strict discipline. She has to overcome fear and earaches caused by pressure changes to explore the ocean world, practice risk management, identify dangers and learn about the history of the territorial waters.

She has conquered a depth of 30m under the sea, and has been granted a professional diving certificate as proof of overcoming her own limits, being ready to accept new things and balancing between daring and risk control.

"Learning to dive taught me how to listen to others even when I can't speak. This skill is very useful in understanding customers, superiors and subordinates," Quynh Anh said.
