Heartbreakingly beautiful picture of ripe rice season in Mu Cang Chai

Every year from late September to late October, Mu Cang Chai puts on a brilliant yellow coat of ripe rice season.

Located about 300 km northwest of Hanoi, the land in the sky of Mu Cang Chai (Lao Cai province, formerly Mu Cang Chai district, Yen Bai ) has long been known as "the paradise of terraced fields". That special feature makes Mu Cang Chai one of the wonders created by the hands of humans and nature.

From the winding hillsides of La Pan Tan, Che Cu Nha to Tu Le village, the whole space seems to be lit up in a shimmering golden color. As the sun sets, the last rays of the day cover each terraced field, reflecting like a golden mirror, making anyone speechless before the peaceful yet majestic beauty.

At Mong Ngua Hill, tourists flock to "hunt" for the moment of ripe rice amidst the majestic mountain scenery. At Khau Pha Pass, paragliders flying over the yellow terraced fields create a mesmerizing dynamic picture.

Going deep into the village, the scent of new rice mixed in the wind, the laughter of the Mong people harvesting rice combined with the rhythm of pounding rice creates an unforgettable golden season symphony.
