This issue is reported on iPhone 17, iPhone 17 Pro, iPhone 17 Pro Max, and iPhone Air.

Many users have encountered WiFi connection problems on Apple's new product line (Photo: Tom's Guide).
Specifically, those affected reported that the WiFi connection was frequently temporarily disconnected. The WiFi only worked again after the user unlocked the iPhone. The CarPlay system also depends on the WiFi connection, so this problem caused many CarPlay users to be disconnected.
All four new iPhone models are equipped with Apple's own N1 chip, supporting WiFi 7, Bluetooth 6 and Thread connectivity. Meanwhile, previous iPhone models still rely on Broadcom chips for wireless connectivity.
It is not yet clear whether this is a hardware or software issue. Previously, many older iPhone users also encountered similar problems after updating to iOS 26. Apple is expected to soon release iOS 26.0.1 to fix the problems on the current software version.
So far, Apple has not made any comments on the above issue.
Previously, Apple's new iPhone models also received many negative reviews from users about being easily scratched, camera errors when taking pictures with LED lights, and fast battery drain.
