It is known that along with the introduction of the iPhone 16e, Apple also announced that two iPhone models have been discontinued: the iPhone SE and the iPhone 14 Plus. This is a notable move by Apple as the iPhone 16e starts at $599 - higher than the iPhone SE's starting price of $429. At the same time, the iPhone 16e is also seen as a replacement for the iPhone 14, and those who prefer a larger iPhone will now have to spend more money on the iPhone 15 Plus or a more expensive phone.
On the plus side, replacing three models with the 16e means the iPhone lineup is more streamlined and simpler than before, but those looking for a truly budget option or an iPhone with a Home button will have to buy refurbished.
This means that the Home button on the iPhone has completely disappeared after 18 years since the first iPhone was released.
