According to confirmed information on June 15th, the Security Management Department of Gimpo Airport's operating unit received a petition requesting clarification on identity verification regulations in the international departure area.

The petitioner requests that authorities publish specific guidelines on whether passengers are required to remove or adjust face masks, hats, sunglasses, and other face coverings during identity checks. If this is a mandatory requirement, the information should be clearly publicized rather than merely communicated directly by staff at the scene.
