Jumbo and his magical friend

The Indonesian animated film Jumbo and His Magical Friend (English title: Jumbo) offers a unique treat for Vietnamese audiences after becoming the highest-grossing animated film of all time in Indonesia.

Jumbo and the Magical Friend, produced by Visinema Studios and directed by Ryan Adriandhy, took five years to create with the collaboration of over 420 animators and creators. The film tells the story of a 10-year-old boy named Don. Because of his chubby physique, Don is often looked down upon by his friends. He decides to enter a theatrical performance to prove his talent, inspired by a precious fairy tale book left behind by his parents.

Don's plan is almost ruined by a bully who steals the book. He and his new friend, Meri, embark on a journey to find the magical book. Viewers will watch to see if Don makes it back to the stage in time and if Meri will be reunited with her parents.
