This year, the holiday lasts for five consecutive days. With the hot weather at its peak, the demand for beach holidays is high.
To create entertainment options for tourists during the holiday season, tourism businesses have developed many recreational activities and water sports such as: kite festivals at The Cliff resort; SUP paddling festivals on Phu Quy island; and buffet dinners at Pandanus resort…
A large number of tourists flocked to the beach. On the breezy summer days, locals and international visitors alike gathered to fly kites and admire the giant kites soaring in the wind. Besides admiring the kites, visitors also had the opportunity to fly their own kites into the vast, blue sky. Over 100 colorful kites, shaped like sea creatures such as octopuses, seahorses, and stingrays, soared through the sunny, windy sky of Phan Thiet. In addition to kite flying, visitors, especially children, enthusiastically participated in games like inflatable water slides, bumper balls, and sand play areas. This will be a meaningful and memorable time for visitors, especially children from urban areas who have fewer opportunities to participate in outdoor recreational activities on the beach.
According to the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province, since the beginning of the year, thanks to the comprehensive and effective implementation of solutions to attract tourists; focusing on tourism promotion and advertising activities; and especially inheriting the effect from the National Tourism Year 2023, Binh Thuan continues to show strong growth in tourism development. In just the first three months of the year, the province welcomed more than 2.2 million visitors; of which international visitors reached 121,000 (an increase of 78% compared to the same period last year). Tourism revenue is estimated at 5,700 billion VND (an increase of 6%).
