Tourists flock to Cat Ba and Do Son.

During the April 30th - May 1st holiday this year, the Cat Ba, Dragon Hill, and Do Son tourist areas (Hai Phong) attracted thousands of domestic and international tourists who came to visit, have fun, and relax.

This year's favorable weather has made many tourists extremely happy to go to the beach. Ms. Pham Thu Anh, a tourist from Hanoi, said: "Because this year's holiday is longer, my family planned a beach trip early and chose Cat Ba. The weather is cool, clear, and breezy, so the family members are very excited. Although we had to wait a little longer to get to the pier, everyone felt happy."

Mr. Nguyen Van Chien, a ferry terminal employee of the Waterway Traffic Assurance Joint Stock Company, said: "Early in the morning of April 30th, the agency mobilized over 50 staff members to be on duty at the terminal to manage and regulate the ferries. From 5 am onwards, groups of tourists flocked to Cat Ba. Because the ferries were large, beautiful, and luxurious, many people were quite delighted to be able to explore the sea."

The ferries at the dock are operating at full capacity to serve tourists.

Forecasting a continued increase in the number of visitors to Cat Ba in the coming days, the ferry terminal has deployed staff to be on duty 24/7 to meet the needs of tourists.

Many tourists enjoy traveling to the beach.

In fact, the beach in Do Son was quite crowded. Around 3 PM on April 30th, the beach was packed with people, with long lines of vehicles heading into Zone 2, the Dragon Hill area. The stalls and sunshades in Zone 2 were arranged quite nicely and attractively.

According to a representative from the Do Son ward leadership, this year's weather is beautiful and favorable for beach tourism, so it is predicted that Do Son will be crowded with visitors in the coming days. The ward is proactively coordinating with relevant agencies to manage and regulate traffic to create the most favorable conditions for everyone visiting Do Son.

Visitors to Cat Ba can choose to travel by cable car, speedboat, or ferry.
