- On the morning of May 21st, the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion, in coordination with the People's Committee of Ky Lua Ward, organized a conference on developing tourism products for Ky Lua Ward in 2026 .

The conference was attended by leaders of the Party Committee and People's Committee of Ky Lua ward; leaders of the Provincial Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion Center; tourism consultants; travel businesses; and media agencies from within and outside the province.

The leader of the Provincial Center for Investment, Trade and Tourism Promotion delivered a speech at the conference.

Currently, Ky Lua ward possesses rich and diverse tourism resources. Notable examples include: cultural and spiritual tourism spaces with Ta Phu Temple, Moi Temple, Bac Nga Pagoda, and the Hoang Van Thu Memorial House; the Ky Cung - Ta Phu festival, the Bac Nga Pagoda festival, along with unique folk cultural values such as Then singing, Sli singing, and lion dance.

The ward also boasts a system of traditional craft villages such as the Bac Nga incense-making village, the Pho Ngau dried cassava processing village, and the Phan Slinh Nung ethnic costume embroidery village; ecological spaces along the Ky Cung River, Le Minh Dam, and the Gia Cat - Tan Lien agricultural area; along with the Ky Lua pedestrian street, night market, and distinctive culinary culture. This forms a crucial foundation for creating a destination brand rich in cultural identity.

Tourism experts speak and participate in discussions at the conference.

During the program, delegates watched a documentary about the potential and strengths of tourism development in the area, as well as the tourism survey and development activities that the ward has implemented in the past.

At the conference, delegates focused on discussing and contributing ideas to build a professional, synchronized, and sustainable tourism product system in the ward. This included focusing on areas such as: developing cultural and spiritual tourism products and traditional festivals; urban tourism linked to commerce, night-time economy , and pedestrian streets; craft village tourism, community tourism, and local cultural experiences; suburban ecotourism, agricultural experiences, and Lang Son cuisine; and creating a chain of products with depth and high competitiveness.

The opinions also focused on the need to accelerate digital transformation, upgrade infrastructure, and innovate promotional activities to improve service quality and brand positioning of destinations; while building a close linkage mechanism between the State - businesses - community to attract investment resources and promote the role of people in the tourism value chain in the area…

Speaking at the conference, the leader of the Ky Lua Ward People's Committee frankly acknowledged that, alongside the achievements, the exploitation of tourism resources in the ward in the past period still has limitations and has not been commensurate with the existing potential and strengths. He emphasized that the contributions and suggestions from experts and delegates at this conference will be an important basis and foundation for the ward to research and plan a systematic roadmap suitable to local resources in order to build and develop distinctive tourism products that attract tourists in the future.
