The Bai Dinh Pagoda Festival takes place from the 6th day of the first lunar month to the end of the third lunar month. This is a typical festival of Northern Vietnam, blending the beauty of Buddhism with Vietnamese folk traditions.
The festival consists of two parts: The ceremonial part includes rituals such as offering incense to pray for national peace and prosperity, offering six kinds of offerings; commemorating the merits of National Master Nguyen Minh Khong, offering sacrifices to the god Cao Son, and paying homage to the Holy Mother Thuong Ngan.

The festival includes rituals such as: processions carrying the ancestral tablets of the deities Cao Son, Saint Nguyen, and the Goddess of the Upper Mountains; processions carrying ceremonial palanquins to the ancient temple; and welcoming artistic performances, creating a joyful and enthusiastic atmosphere, and wishing for a peaceful, lucky, and happy new year for every local resident and visitor.
On the very first day of the festival, it attracted thousands of devotees and tourists who came to visit and worship.
