Opening Ceremony of the "Golden Voice" Solo Singing Competition in Phan Thiet

On the evening of December 9th, the "Golden Voice" singing competition in Phan Thiet City officially opened with the first qualifying round at the Phan Thiet City Cultural, Sports and Tourism Center.

Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc - Head of the Judging Panel, delivered the opening speech.

Mr. Nguyen The Dung - Head of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism - attended and presented flowers to the judging panel. The 18th Phan Thiet City "Golden Voice" solo singing competition , held from December 9th to 30th , 2023 , attracted contestants aged 16 to 40 .

Contestants will go through three rounds of competition : the qualifying round, the semi-finals, and the final ranking round. The contestants' entries include songs composed domestically; praising the Vietnamese people, revolutionary traditions; the glorious Party; the beloved President Ho Chi Minh; and their hometown of Phan Thiet - Binh Thuan . The first night of the competition, featuring performances by 20 contestants, offered the audience a diverse range of musical styles.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Mr. Nguyen Minh Duc, Director of the Phan Thiet City Cultural, Sports and Tourism Center, emphasized: This expanded "Golden Voice" solo singing competition in Phan Thiet City aims to practically celebrate the 2023 National Tourism Year "Binh Thuan - Green Convergence". The competition is an artistic playground to encourage and develop the mass cultural and artistic movement. It also provides an opportunity for talented young people who love singing in Phan Thiet City in particular and the province in general to showcase their talents, interact, and exchange experiences. From this competition, it is hoped that talented singers with suitable styles will be discovered and nurtured to become core figures in the local cultural and artistic movement.
