This is a new initiative designed to create a platform for meeting, exchanging ideas, and collaborating between Vietnamese film professionals and partners in the region and around the world .
In her opening remarks, Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan, President of the Vietnam Film Development Promotion Association and Director of the Da Nang Asian Film Festival (DANAFF), stated that DANAFF is a film festival aimed at honoring the outstanding values of cinema and promoting cultural exchange.
Last year, the Da Nang Project Market launched, aiming to support young talents and new creative voices. This year, the Organizing Committee is pleased to continue introducing the Film Industry Networking (DANAFF Industry Days) within the framework of the Film Festival, a new step in DANAFF's development journey.

"We believe that a film festival is not only a place to showcase outstanding works, but also a space for ideas to meet, relationships to be built, and new projects to be initiated," affirmed Dr. Ngo Phuong Lan.
The film festival director hopes the program will become a platform to promote dialogue, cooperation, co-production, and international distribution. With the theme of DANAFF IV being “A Bridge to the World,” DANAFF Industry Days is a testament to the commitment to strengthening regional connections and bringing Asian stories closer to global audiences.

The program, DANAFF Industry Days, involves 10 Vietnamese film companies and 25 international film purchasing companies.
The fact that 25 international film purchasing companies chose to participate in DANAFF IV demonstrates the growing interest of the global market in Vietnamese cinema. With Vietnamese films consistently receiving positive signals in terms of box office revenue, artistic quality, and presence at international film festivals, the need to learn about, approach, and collaborate with Vietnamese producers is also increasing significantly. The participation of international partners not only opens opportunities for purchasing rights and distributing works abroad, but also provides Vietnamese projects with access to investment resources, production expertise, and international distribution networks.

The program includes activities introducing the trends and development potential of the Vietnamese film market, showcasing upcoming film projects from leading Vietnamese film studios and production companies, and facilitating direct B2B connections between 10 leading Vietnamese companies and over 20 selected international film purchasing companies.
Additionally, the program includes the DANAFF Industry Talks, a professional exchange forum for producers, experts, managers, and representatives of domestic and international film organizations. The program comprises two open-to-the-public seminars focusing on current film industry topics such as trends in the Vietnamese and Southeast Asian markets, models of production and distribution partnerships, and new opportunities for filmmakers in the context of increasing international integration.
