Attending the forum were Deputy Minister of Education and Training Le Quan; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of France to Vietnam Olivier Brochet; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Lao People's Democratic Republic to Vietnam Khamphao Ernthavanh; Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of Cambodia to Vietnam Touch Sopharat; and Head of the Wallonie-Bruxelles Delegation in Vietnam Pierre du Ville.
Along with them were over 120 delegates representing educational management agencies, schools, French teachers, and the Francophone education network in Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia.
Speaking at the forum, Comrade Pham Anh Tuan - Member of the Central Committee of the Party, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Gia Lai province - emphasized that ICISE is a vivid symbol of the Vietnam-France friendship, closely associated with the dedication of Professor Tran Thanh Van and the support of the French Government.
Since 2013, ICISE has organized nearly 250 international scientific conferences with more than 19,000 scientists from 62 countries and territories participating, including 19 Nobel Prize-winning professors.

According to the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, education, training, and the development of high-quality human resources have always been identified by the locality as a key task to create a foundation for rapid and sustainable development.
In the context of deep international integration, Gia Lai is particularly interested in expanding educational cooperation, developing bilingual programs, and strengthening international knowledge connections.
The forum provides an opportunity for stakeholders to assess the current state, position, and development prospects of the French language in the regional education system; and to promote collaborative initiatives aimed at improving the quality of French teaching and learning in Vietnam.

Currently, Vietnam has 32 educational institutions that have received the "Label Franc Education" certification, affirming its role as one of the important centers of the Francophone community in Asia.
Delegates noted that French is increasingly asserting its role as the language of knowledge, science, innovation, and international integration. Implementing specialized courses taught in French contributes to training a generation of multilingual students with global thinking and the ability to adapt to the demands of the new era.
Within the framework of the forum, the Vietnamese Ministry of Education and Training and its Francophone partners signed a joint declaration aimed at strengthening cooperation, promoting French language teaching, and developing the Francophone education community in Vietnam.
