Held for the first time in the port city, this year's Press Festival is not only an opportunity to honor the glorious tradition of Vietnamese revolutionary journalism but also a space for networking, sharing professional experiences, promoting innovation and digital transformation in media organizations.
This year, the Press Festival brings together 66 press agencies and Journalists' Associations at all levels nationwide, with a total of 87 exhibition booths, arranged in the central area, the main press area, the Journalists' Associations area, the Hai Phong city area, and the outdoor exhibition area.
From print, radio, and television to online news, from multimedia products to new technological applications in content production, many media organizations have chosen the Press Festival as a venue to showcase outstanding achievements in digital transformation and innovation of operating models.

A notable highlight is the outdoor thematic exhibition "Journalism and the Flow of Vietnamese Culture," organized by the Vietnam Journalism Museum. Spanning nearly 150 meters, the exhibition space features approximately 1,000 images, documents, articles, newspaper covers, and propaganda posters, recreating the more than a century-long journey of revolutionary Vietnamese journalism, from its earliest pages to today's multi-platform press.
Beyond simply showcasing journalistic products, many exhibition booths this year also aim to enhance the experience and interaction with the public through interactive activities, seminars, knowledge-based games, technology demonstrations, and digital journalistic products.
Connecting and spreading journalistic values.
Besides the exhibition space, the 2026 National Press Forum is expected to continue to be one of the most prominent professional activities of the 2026 National Press Conference. The forum will take place over two days, June 19-20, with 11 working sessions including the opening ceremony, the closing ceremony, and 9 thematic discussion sessions.
The selected topics all stem from issues directly impacting current journalistic activities, such as protecting the Party's ideological foundation; developing the economic aspects of journalism; copyright in the AI era; promoting Vietnam's image in the digital media ecosystem; applying artificial intelligence in newsrooms; organizing the operations of media organizations; policy communication; and the strategic autonomy of media organizations in the digital age.

Therefore, this year's awards ceremony is not only an opportunity to honor the best works of the season but also a chance to look back on the two-decade journey and acknowledge the contributions of generations of journalists to the development of the country.
Besides professional activities, the Final Round of the "Expanded Journalists' Singing Contest" 2026, with the participation of journalists from Vietnam, Laos, Thailand, and Cambodia, will also contribute to enriching the colors of this year's journalism festival.
