According to Chairman of the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province, Nguyen Viet Hung, the event contributes to the implementation of Resolution 80-NQ/TW of the Politburo on the development of Vietnamese culture in the new period. It is also an opportunity for localities with a large Cham ethnic population to strengthen exchanges and connections, and contribute to promoting cultural tourism and heritage preservation.

Speaking at the opening ceremony, Vice President Vo Thi Anh Xuan affirmed that Vietnam is a unified nation of 54 ethnic groups, among which the Cham people are an important part with a long history of formation and development, possessing a rich, diverse, and unique culture. The Cham cultural values, with their diverse system of tangible and intangible heritage, have contributed to shaping the face of Vietnamese culture as a unified yet diverse nation.

According to Ms. Vo Thi Anh Xuan, in the new stage of national development, the Party identifies culture and people as the spiritual foundation, important endogenous resources, and driving force for rapid and sustainable development. Therefore, preserving and promoting the traditional cultural values of ethnic groups, including Cham culture, is of great importance in consolidating national unity.
On the occasion of this significant cultural event, the Vice President urged all levels, sectors, and localities to continue effectively implementing the Party and State's guidelines and policies on the development of Vietnamese culture and people; and to promote the strength of national unity in the new era.

At the same time, it is necessary to focus on the comprehensive preservation of Cham cultural values, promoting the leading role of the Cham people in preserving and transmitting heritage; strengthening research and application of science and technology, and enhancing international cooperation and sharing of experiences in cultural preservation.
Furthermore, it is necessary to promote the role of influential figures, religious leaders, and artisans within the community; linking cultural preservation and promotion with socio-economic development, and improving the material and spiritual lives of the people. Through this, we can continue to affirm the important role and contributions of the Cham people in the cause of national construction and defense in the new era of development.
