Buddha's Birthday Week with many rich and exciting activities such as: Opening ceremony and lighting of 7 lotus flowers to celebrate Buddha's birthday; Buddha's birthday procession and opening ceremony of the Buddhist altar; official ceremony at Quan The Am pagoda (Dien Nam Trung ward); cultural night to celebrate Buddha's birthday.

One of the activities that many people look forward to is the lighting ceremony of 7 lotus flowers on Vinh Dien River. This is a ritual that has become a traditional beauty, a source of pride and an indispensable spiritual symbol of the local people during each Buddha's birthday season. Next is the ceremony of releasing balloons to pray for peace , national prosperity and people's well-being.

Buddha's birthday week lasts until May 22 (April 15 of the lunar calendar).
