Tourism combined with events, seminars, and conferences is a new trend, boosting the tourism industry thanks to the high spending power of tourists. To exploit new tourism products and increase their attractiveness to visitors, the Tam Dao district government and businesses have been actively investing in infrastructure in Tam Dao town, improving service quality with high-end standards to attract potential customers.

From the early 20th century, the French chose and developed Tam Dao town into a resort area, leaving a deep impression on domestic and international tourists thanks to its pristine beauty, diverse ecosystem, and fresh climate. It was honored by the World Travel Awards as the " World 's Leading Destination Town".

Furthermore, with its prime location near Noi Bai Airport, approximately 60 km from Hanoi, and seamless connection to the Hanoi-Lao Cai expressway, Tam Dao tourist area has many advantages to attract events, seminars, and conferences combined with resort tourism.

To optimize these advantages, the province has invested resources in upgrading the infrastructure of the Tam Dao National Tourist Area, expanding National Highway 2B from Chan Suoi Bridge to the Tam Dao Tourist Area. It has also completed the infrastructure of Tam Dao town, making it modern and integrated with green parks, access roads, and entertainment areas. Furthermore, it has developed numerous channels to promote the image of the Tam Dao Tourist Area on social media and in the press to reach tourists.

At the same time, we call on businesses with strong economic potential and management expertise in the tourism sector to develop high value-added tourism products that extend the length of stay for tourists.

Hotels investing in Tam Dao town are increasingly larger in scale and higher in quality, effectively meeting the needs of both domestic and international tourists. Currently, Tam Dao town has nearly 200 restaurants, hotels, guesthouses, and homestays with nearly 7,000 rooms meeting quality standards, and some hotels have conference halls with a capacity of hundreds of people.

This is an important prerequisite for developing tourism products associated with seminars and conferences in Tam Dao district in particular and the province in general.

In addition, it is necessary to improve the general infrastructure of Tam Dao town such as parking lots, markets, food streets, etc., and to renovate the overall landscape so that Tam Dao becomes a destination with its own unique character and attractiveness for tourists.”
