Free medical examinations and medication distribution for the people of Muoi Noi commune.

On December 12th, the Son La Provincial Red Cross Society, in coordination with the Hai Phong City Red Cross Society and the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital, organized a program to provide free medical examinations, health consultations, and medication to 250 people from impoverished households, disadvantaged individuals, the elderly, families receiving preferential treatment, and victims of Agent Orange in Muoi Noi commune.

During the program, the team of doctors and nurses from the Provincial Traditional Medicine Hospital conducted ultrasounds, general check-ups, blood pressure measurements, and provided advice and guidance on knowledge and skills to prevent some common diseases such as: influenza, diabetes, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, stroke prevention, and cerebrovascular accidents during the winter... They also distributed many types of nutritional supplements and medications for common illnesses free of charge to the people.

Leaders of the Provincial Red Cross Society presented warm jackets to students of Ban Lam Primary and Secondary School in Muoi Noi commune.

In addition, the delegation donated over 960 warm jackets to primary and secondary school students in Ban Lam, Muoi Noi commune, helping them stay warm during the winter and focus on their studies. The total cost of the program was 200 million VND.
