Having frequented this Chiều Market to buy seafood to treat friends from afar, Mr. Nguyen Van Hai (residing in Nai Hien Dong Ward, Son Tra District) commented that although the market is a bit crowded, the upside is that once you're "stumbled" into this market, you can freely choose seafood without worrying about being overcharged because the seafood is fresh and quite cheap.
"I've witnessed foreign tourists, especially from China and South Korea, coming to Chiều Market to buy seafood. The vendors are not only friendly but also always sell at the same price; there's no price gouging of foreign tourists," said Hai.
Sea bream caught by nets is a specialty seafood at Chiều Market.
Joining his friends at the Chiều Market, Mr. Tran Van Ky (a tourist from Ho Chi Minh City) expressed his excitement at being in front of the fresh seafood market that opens in the afternoon: "When you mention Da Nang, you mention fresh seafood.
