Located in the northeasternmost region of Vietnam, the towering limestone mountain ranges, covered by lush green ancient forests that occupy up to 90% of the province's area, have bestowed upon the Non Nuoc Cao Bang Global Geopark breathtakingly beautiful landscapes that captivate the hearts of visitors. As one of three Vietnamese names honored to be included in UNESCO's Global Geopark Network, the majestic beauty of Cao Bang's verdant mountains and clear waters holds an irresistible allure.

It is precisely because of this majestic scenery that photographer Marleen Bruwer had such a valuable experience embarking on a solo motorbike adventure through the magnificent mountain ranges of Cao Bang and the northernmost provinces of Vietnam, as captured in her photo series "The Secret to Happiness: A Motorbike Odyssey through Vietnam's Epic Mountains." The series was submitted to the Happy Vietnam Photo and Video Contest, organized by the Ministry of Information and Communications .
