Coastal and island attractions are popular with tourists.
In recent days, from early morning, tourist groups and vehicles have been flocking to Khanh Hoa for vacation. Domestic and international flights have been continuously landing at Cam Ranh International Airport. Vietnam Airlines alone has added 104 flights, bringing the total to 332 on the Hanoi - Cam Ranh, Ho Chi Minh City - Cam Ranh, and Da Nang - Cam Ranh routes, providing approximately 63,000 seats from April 24th to May 4th. Besides air and road travel, a large number of tourists have chosen to travel by train, contributing to the bustling atmosphere in Khanh Hoa during these days.

For the first two days of the holiday, Nha Trang beach was packed with people enjoying themselves and swimming. Tourist attractions were also popular choices for many visitors. Among them, VinWonders Nha Trang continued to be the most popular destination. From early morning, visitors lined up to take the cable car to Hon Tre Island for sightseeing and entertainment. Besides the familiar thrill rides, aquarium, and bird show, this year, VinWonders Nha Trang enriched visitors' experiences with an art exhibition, a workshop on painting traditional conical hats, and a national flag parade themed "The Spirit of Vietnam," featuring hundreds of artists and a large number of tourists. On the nights of April 30th and May 1st, the high-altitude fireworks display illuminating the sky over Hon Tre Island became an unforgettable highlight of many people's trip. Andrey (a Russian tourist) excitedly said: "Arriving in Nha Trang right during the April 30th holiday, I was impressed by the vibrant tourist atmosphere, with the red flag with a yellow star displayed everywhere. I really enjoyed the shows and workshops at VinWonders. Here, for the first time, I personally painted the Vietnamese flag on a conical hat. This will be a memorable souvenir of my trip."

Coastal and island attractions in Nha Trang Bay such as Con Se Tre, Coral Bay, Hon Tam… also welcomed a significant number of visitors. Mr. Tran Van Phu - Head of Nha Trang Tourist Wharf Management Department said: “In just the first two days of the holiday, more than 17,000 visitors passed through the wharf. Besides domestic tourists, there were also visitors from Russia, Kazakhstan, South Korea, China… Despite the large number of visitors, departures were still smooth thanks to thorough preparation plans made early on, increased on-duty personnel, reasonable boat traffic management, and the relocation of fishing boats to make way for tourist boats.” In the north of Nha Trang, the Orchid Island and Monkey Island tourist areas welcomed about 4,000 visitors in two days, equivalent to the same period last year.

Tourists are delighted with the rich array of marine and island experiences, such as scuba diving to explore the ocean, paragliding to admire Nha Trang Bay from above, bathing in mineral mud at Hon Tam, or riding jet skis on the waves. Ms. Nguyen Anh Thu from Ho Chi Minh City shared: " The weather in Nha Trang these days is perfect for sea and island tours. Compared to previous years, tourism services in Khanh Hoa are becoming more diverse and higher quality. I also plan to take a tour to see Nha Trang Bay at night."
Room occupancy rate is high.
Alongside the bustling atmosphere of the coastal and island areas, cultural tourism destinations also attract a large number of visitors. The Po Nagar Cham Towers, a special national historical site, is crowded with people from early morning to late afternoon. Besides admiring the unique Cham architecture, visitors can also watch artisans making pottery and weaving brocade, and enjoy traditional Cham dances. Ms. Nguyen Thi Thuy Hang, Head of the Management Board of the historical site, said that in just the first two days of the holiday, Po Nagar Cham Towers welcomed nearly 12,000 visitors, including many Cham people from various places who came to offer incense. The Oceanographic Museum, Long Son Pagoda, Truong Son Craft Village, and the old Nha Trang Craft Village are also popular choices for tourists seeking to learn more about the natural beauty and rich history of this region.
