After three months of challenging basic training, honing both physical and mental fortitude, the new recruits officially mature and become proficient in their respective positions. This is a necessary qualitative transformation for these revolutionary soldiers, these "red seeds" officially integrating into the revolutionary army of their units, ready to firmly defend the Fatherland in all situations.
Aspiration to contribute
After taking the oath, Private Dinh Khong Hoang Gia Hung was assigned to the position of young reconnaissance officer in the Reconnaissance Platoon, Command Company, 96th Brigade, Artillery and Missile Command. Meeting us during an evening cultural and artistic activity, Hung confided: “The knowledge I gained during the three months of training, along with my professional skills, is an important ‘handbook’ that helps me confidently implement field reconnaissance plans.”

Growing up alongside and being assigned to the Reconnaissance Platoon was Private Nguyen Minh Phat, an equally capable accounting soldier. Undertaking highly specialized tasks requiring meticulousness and absolute accuracy, Phat consistently maintained a strong sense of responsibility, completing all assigned ledgers and documents effectively, contributing to the unit's logistics and financial support. Phat's dedication is a testament to the soldier's eagerness to learn and his willingness to overcome difficulties, always clearly aware of the qualities of a "Ho Chi Minh's Soldier" in the new situation.
At the Naval Region 2 Training Center, located in Nhon Trach ward, Dong Nai city, Private Nguyen Tien Nhan is working diligently as a communications trainee in Company 4, Battalion 2. Specialized signals and radio communication techniques, seemingly dry and uninteresting, have, through Nhan's persistent training, become sharp weapons maintaining the vital communication lifeline for the unit.

Factory X52 receives the Order of National Defense, Second Class.On the morning of June 18th, in Cam Ranh (Khanh Hoa), Factory X52 (Naval Logistics and Technical Department) held a ceremony to receive the Second Class Order of National Defense and commemorate the 15th anniversary of its founding (June 20, 2011 / June 20, 2026). Their political and moral qualities were impeccable, and their unwavering loyalty to the revolutionary ideals of the Party, the State, and the army were in line with the ten oaths that resonated during the swearing-in ceremony.
A solid foundation
According to Colonel Pham Quang Huy, Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee and Commander of Brigade 96, Artillery and Missile Command, the steadfastness achieved by the new recruits after the oath-taking ceremony is the result of a scientific and systematic training process and is clear evidence of the quality of training at the grassroots units.
“Young soldiers Dinh Khong Hoang Gia Hung and Nguyen Minh Phat are practical examples of the maturation process of the new recruits; at the same time, they affirm the scientific, systematic training process and adherence to the plans, orders, and directives on training and educating new recruits from superiors at the brigade,” Colonel Pham Quang Huy observed.
Meanwhile, Colonel Dau Dinh Dan, Commander of the Naval Region 2 Training Center, stated that the proactive attitude, the spirit of "daring to think, daring to act," the eagerness to learn, and the close bond with comrades have contributed to the steadfastness and maturity of the new recruits when they return to their respective units.
Colonel Dau Dinh Dan emphasized: “The steadfastness in political ideology and absolute loyalty to the Party, the Fatherland, and the people of young soldiers are the guiding principles that help them overcome all temptations and difficulties. The unit commander expressed confidence that, with a foundation of revolutionary ethics and solid knowledge gained after 3 months of training, the new recruits will continue to uphold the qualities of Uncle Ho's soldiers – the naval soldiers in the new situation – contributing to building a revolutionary, regular, elite, and modern army.”

They will continue to dedicate themselves wholeheartedly, write more glorious chapters in the unit's history, further enhance the glorious tradition of the heroic Vietnam People's Army, and be ready to firmly defend the Fatherland in all situations.
