Attending the conference were Ms. Ngo Thi Nhung - Deputy Director of the State Treasury; Mr. Bui Thang - Deputy Secretary of Lam Dong Provincial Party Committee; Mr. Hoang Xuan Huong - Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; and leaders of functional departments of the State Treasury Region XVI.

At the conference, representatives of the State Treasury's Organization and Personnel Board announced the temporary appointment decisions for the positions of Director and Deputy Directors of the State Treasury Region XVI.

Accordingly, Mr. Le Thai Vy - Director of State Treasury Region XV (provinces before the merger, including: Ninh Thuan, Binh Thuan, Dong Nai, Ba Ria - Vung Tau ) was appointed for a term of time to hold the position of Director of State Treasury Region XVI (Lam Dong) from July 1, 2025. Along with that, 6 officials were appointed to hold the position of Deputy Directors including: Mr. Nguyen Kim Phong, Mr. Dao Van Ky, Ms. Phan Thi Hieu, Mr. Vo Thanh Khiem, Mr. Tran Xuan Lanh and Ms. Ho Thi Tuong Giang.

The State Treasury also announced and awarded appointment decisions to 7 heads of staff and support departments; 15 heads of transaction departments and more than 40 deputy heads of departments of affiliated units.

Speaking at the conference, Ms. Nguyen Thi Nhung - Deputy Director of the State Treasury congratulated the State Treasury Region IX for perfecting its organization and personnel, creating a solid foundation for performing tasks in the new period.

The Deputy Director of the State Treasury requested the State Treasury Region XVI leadership to soon unify working regulations and assign specific tasks according to the principle of "clear people, clear work, clear responsibilities", and proactively coordinate with tax, financial and customs agencies in the area to ensure timely and complete accounting, budget revenue and expenditure, and avoid interruptions that affect people, businesses and budget-using units.

Speaking at the ceremony, the new Director of State Treasury Region IX, Le Thai Vy, expressed his determination to work with the unit to promote solidarity and responsibility, successfully complete assigned tasks, and contribute to promoting reform and modernization of treasury operations in accordance with the general direction of the industry and local development requirements.

State Treasury Region XVI is a unit under the State Treasury, performing the functions of the State Treasury in the management area according to the provisions of law; has legal status, its own headquarters and seal, and is allowed to open an account at a bank to perform assigned tasks according to the provisions of law.
