At Hoa Lac airport , each helicopter was refueled. Then, the 10 aircraft successively moved into position, ready for deployment.
The SGGP newspaper's team of reporters was present at Hoa Lac airport to join the flight crew.
The three airports designated as take-off and landing points are Hoa Lac, Gia Lam ( Hanoi ), and Kep (Bac Ninh).

According to the flight plan for mission A80, the flight formation was organized into 9 groups, totaling 30 aircraft of various types, including helicopters, CASA 295, CASA 212i, Yak-130, L-39NG and SU-30MK2.
A formation of five Su-30MK2 aircraft flew over Ba Dinh Square. After splitting into three directions, the middle aircraft performed a vertical takeoff maneuver.

Two Su-30MK2 aircraft, piloted by pilots from the 927th Regiment, flew into Ba Dinh Square after the Yak-130 and L-39NG.
To participate in the A80 ceremony, Su-30MK2 fighter jets spent many days practicing in formations of two and five aircraft in a "spearhead" formation at Kep Airfield ( Bac Ninh ).
Following the formation of Yak-130s, a squadron of four L-39NG training aircraft flew over Ba Dinh Square. This was the first time the L-39NG aircraft participated in training in preparation for the grand ceremony.

This fleet of aircraft always attracts public attention during major national events, such as the International Defence Exhibition in November 2024 or the parade commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liberation of the South and National Reunification on April 30, 2025.
Previously, on July 30, 2025, the Su-30MK2 also conducted its first survey flight over Ba Dinh Square in preparation for the grand ceremony.
In the Ba Dinh Square area, many people cheered when they saw dozens of transport and fighter planes appear in the Hanoi sky...

A large crowd gathered on Hung Vuong Street and Ba Dinh Square in Hanoi from early morning to watch the second training session at 8 PM today.
