Thank you letter from the Central Steering Committee after the September 2nd Celebration

Below is the full text of the letter signed by Head of the Steering Committee, Politburo member, Permanent Secretary of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu on September 3:

The activities to celebrate the 80th anniversary of the successful August Revolution (August 19, 1945 - August 19, 2025) and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), especially the celebration, parade, and march were solemnly held at Ba Dinh Square, Hanoi and were a great success, truly a great festival of the entire nation; affirming the value of the times and the everlasting vitality of the August Revolution and National Day September 2; arousing and strongly promoting the tradition of patriotism, pride and strength of great national unity; creating motivation and aspiration to contribute for a peaceful, prosperous and prosperous Vietnam.

The Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays and important historical events of the country in the three years 2023-2025 would like to express gratitude and deep thanks to:

- Leaders and former leaders of the Party, State and Vietnam Fatherland Front;

- Revolutionary elders, Vietnamese Heroic Mothers, People's Armed Forces Heroes, Labor Heroes, generals, officers, soldiers, veterans, former people's police, former youth volunteers, former frontline workers, militia, guerrillas, families of martyrs, wounded soldiers, sick soldiers, people with meritorious services to the country, ethnic minorities, religious dignitaries, generations of cadres and soldiers who have devoted and sacrificed for the independence and freedom of the Fatherland, for the cause of building, protecting and developing the country;

- Compatriots, armed forces soldiers nationwide and our compatriots abroad;

- Leaders of political parties, states, governments and peoples of fraternal countries and international organizations who supported, assisted, attended the celebration, and sent congratulatory messages;

- Central ministries, branches, agencies, organizations and unions and provinces and cities;
- Generals, officers, soldiers of the People's Army, People's Police, militia and self-defense forces, sectors and sectors participated in the parades;

- Experts, scientists, artists, program designers and producers; businesses, sponsors, reporters, editors, technicians from domestic and international press and publishing agencies;

- Cadres, civil servants, public employees, workers of agencies, units, socio-political organizations; union members, volunteers; forces participating in protecting security and order at the grassroots level; children and teenagers;

- Parade of brotherly countries: China, Russia, Laos, Cambodia;

- Especially the City Party Committee, People's Council, People's Committee and all the people of Hanoi Capital...

Participated in commemorative activities and made extremely positive and effective contributions to the success of the activities celebrating the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam. Those contributions have strongly contributed to spreading the profound message of the aspiration for independence, freedom, peace and friendship to international friends, while bringing great emotion and pride to compatriots, cadres and soldiers across the country.

The success of these activities and celebrations once again affirms the truth: All victories of the Vietnamese Revolution originate from the People, by the People and for the People. The Central Steering Committee for the celebration of major holidays believes that the immortal spirit of the August Revolution and National Day September 2 will continue to be a great driving force to bring our Nation firmly into the new era of development, continuing to write the glorious golden pages of the nation's history.
