Over the past time, Ha Tinh has focused on expanding and upgrading pipelines to better serve the needs of clean water use of people in urban areas.
Implementing the development orientation of urban water supply and industrial zones in Ha Tinh province in the period of 2017 - 2025, the Department of Construction has reviewed and adjusted the content of the water supply planning in the construction planning project, supplementing the contents related to climate change and ensuring safe water supply in urban areas and industrial zones. In particular, pay attention to and focus on upgrading water supply plants, investing in expanding the pipeline system of the water supply network to residential areas.
Up to now, the whole province has 3 units assigned to manage, operate and exploit urban water supply works with 15 plants, with a total capacity of 120.500 m3/day and night. The average water supply level per capita is 120 liters/person/day. The proportion of people using clean water in urban areas is about 83,4%, while 16,6% of people do not have access to clean water.
