Approximately 2.6 million people have had their union dues and membership fees suspended.

According to Official Letter 4133/TLĐ-ToC dated May 23, 2025, from the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor regarding the reorganization of the trade union apparatus in accordance with Resolution 60-NQ/TW, from June 1, 2025, the collection of union dues and union fees will cease for union members and grassroots trade unions in administrative agencies, public service units receiving 100% of their salaries from the state budget, and the armed forces (not subject to the Vietnam Trade Union's membership).

Approximately 2.6 million people have had their union dues and membership fees suspended.

According to the Vietnam General Confederation of Labor, approximately 2.6 million people are exempt from paying union dues and union fees. The amount of union dues and union fees that are suspended is approximately over 3,000 billion VND per year.
