Mr. Bui Ta Hoang Vu, Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Tourism, informed the program that there are currently 260 tour programs and 300,000 service tickets participating with discounts ranging from 10% to 70%. According to Mr. Vu, stimulating tourism demand at this time is very difficult because businesses are facing revenue challenges. However, the Tourism Association and the Department of Tourism still encourage the introduction of new, unique products of Ho Chi Minh City at competitive prices to alleviate customer concerns about traveling after the pandemic.

| Ho Chi Minh City has officially launched the website kichcaudulichtphcm.vn with the aim of boosting domestic tourism demand after the pandemic. |
The website's objectives are, on the one hand, to introduce and update new tourism products for customers, and on the other hand, to serve as a bridge connecting tourism businesses in other localities with tourism businesses in Ho Chi Minh City. In the future, the website will have an English version to serve foreign tourists and foreign tourism businesses wishing to cooperate in developing new products in the Ho Chi Minh City market and neighboring provinces.
Mr. Vu The Binh, Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Tourism Association, said that achieving competitive prices while maintaining quality is largely thanks to the significant support from airlines, transportation companies, and hotels, which have subsidized product and service prices by up to 80%.
According to Mr. Binh, the tourism industry highly appreciates the sacrifices made by these businesses and calls on other tourism service providers to join in creating more attractive product packages.
For example, in the electricity sector, three years ago, according to Resolution 8 of the Politburo , the electricity price for accommodation establishments should be the same as the electricity price for production. This would help businesses in the accommodation sector reduce their current electricity costs by 33%, but it has not yet been implemented.
According to Mr. Binh, the task of reducing prices to attract customers should no longer be solely the responsibility of the tourism industry, but rather of other sectors, because attracting customers stimulates domestic consumption in the current difficult economic climate.
