The highlight of this year’s Youth Literary Creation Camp in Thanh Hoa province is the diversity of campers. The youngest are 6th graders with innocent, pure thoughts and original works with many creative ideas. Besides, there are students from Lam Son High School for the Gifted - the cradle of training excellenteducational resources in the province; energetic students from Hong Duc University and teachers who are both knowledge ferrymen and emotional writers as writers and poets.
Attending the opening ceremony and accompanying the entire duration of the writing camp, there were delegates, writers, poets, literary critics and teachers to share and support young writers with a passion for literature.

The representative of the Organizing Committee emphasized: The Youth Literature Creation Camp opens up space and opportunities for writers to express their emotions and thoughts through each page. At the same time, it contributes to inspiring and creating conditions for works bearing the mark of youth to shine, contributing to enriching the literary and artistic life of the province.
In recent years, Thanh Hoa province's literature has made remarkable changes with remarkable contributions to the development of literature and art in particular and to the national literature in general.
The force of young writers is increasingly talented and enthusiastic, meeting and serving well the needs of enjoying literature to a large number of readers and is highly appreciated. To continue to discover and nurture the young writers, the Provincial Literature and Arts Association has had many good and practical ways to both focus on the young team and encourage and promote the spirit of creative passion for each individual.

Specifically, the Association always allocates annual funding for training courses for young creative forces, especially young forces in mountainous areas. Each year, it attracts from 20 to 30 students. The works after the creative camp are carefully selected by the organizing committee and printed in the Thanh Van Nghe Magazine or introduced to the Central Van Nghe Newspaper ( Vietnam Writers Association ) or the Vietnam Van Nghe Forum Magazine (Vietnam Union of Literary and Art Associations).
Those practical actions were supported by the leaders of Thanh Hoa province, and many artists and writers in the province were excited. Those trained writers later matured and became members of the Association, such as: Lau Van Mua, Quach Lan Anh, Pham Tien Trieu, Son Ca, Nguyen Hai, Quynh Thom... In particular, there were young authors who were admitted to the Vietnam Writers Association.
In addition, the Association also selects promising writers to attend training courses of the Vietnam Union of Literature and Arts Associations, the Central Council for Literature and Arts Theory and Criticism, and the National Congress of Young Writers, such as: Nguyen Thanh Tam, Pham Tien Trieu, Tra Hoa Nu, Pham Van Dung...

Also from learning knowledge from experts, professors, writers, poets, prestigious critics, as well as exchanging experiences with fellow writers, many young writers have broken out of the local space, conquered and published works in many central and provincial newspapers across the country.
Writer Thy Lan, Vice President of Thanh Hoa Province Literature and Arts Association, Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Hoa Literature and Arts Magazine, shared: "We always strive to care for the young team. The magazine, through poetry and literature writing contests for school-age children, and most recently in 2018, organized a Young Literature Writing Contest (including poetry and short stories) attracting hundreds of writers inside and outside the province with thousands of works submitted for the contest."

"From those competitions, many young writers have grown up and left their mark on the Central and local literary scene... In addition, there are many practical actions taken by the Association to care for the young team. These are proofs of the meticulous investment in the team element with continuity from the local to the central level. This direction will be maintained and promoted so that the locality can truly be a place to nurture, discover and give wings to young writers," said writer Thy Lan.
Taking on the role of closely monitoring the campers throughout the journey of the writing camp, writer Ngan Hang, Deputy Editor-in-Chief of Thanh Van Nghe Magazine, said: The writing camp is a meaningful and practical activity, where each writer has the opportunity to penetrate reality, exchange, learn from each other, explore ideas, topics, content of literary and artistic works, etc. to create quality and valuable works.

Recognizing the role and importance of creative camps for the development of literature and art, over the past time, the Association has made great efforts to organize literary and artistic creative camps in a systematic and effective manner, ensuring adequate daily activities and providing enough space to inspire creativity for campers.
In addition to the desire to create a healthy and useful playground, helping young writers to freely create, express their personality and talent, this is also an opportunity for young people to meet, exchange, hone their skills, writing experience, share their passion, and contribute to improving literary works. The Association hopes to have a team of young, dynamic, and sensitive writers to contribute to supplementing resources for the literary and artistic movement of the province.

At this Creative Camp, although short-term, the Organizing Committee still invited prestigious theorists-critics, writers, and poets in the Vietnamese literary world who have knowledge and practical experience in creative writing to participate in teaching, such as: Associate Professor, Doctor Hoa Dieu Thuy, writer Nguyen Dinh Tu, poet Lu Mai.
Through conversations and exchanges, many inmates shared their literary aspirations, and at the same time wanted to widely promote the image and people of Thanh Hoa in their fighting career, as well as the achievements in economic and social development.
Teacher Tran Thi Diep, currently working at Nhu Thanh Secondary School for Ethnic Minorities (Thanh Hoa) emotionally shared: "As a teacher in the highlands and also a literature lover, I feel very honored to participate in this Writing Camp. This is truly a valuable opportunity for me to meet and interact with people who share the same passion, especially the talented and enthusiastic young generation. Literature, to me, is the heartbeat of life, the breath of the soul. Hopefully, from this writing camp, pages of literature will be written with all sincerity, emotion and desire for change."

Currently, the Thanh Van Nghe Magazine has launched the 2025 Good Short Story Contest, with many writers, including some young writers, submitting their works and having them published in the Magazine. The contest has now gone more than half way and is still ongoing. Hopefully, young writers, from the real world, will actively participate in the contest with works that have contemplated and are still fresh with the essence of life in the places they have lived.
