On the evening of May 18, the People's Committee of Lao Cai province informed and carried out the investigation of the case "Abusing positions and powers while performing official duties" that occurred at the People's Committee of Lao Cai province according to Decision No. supplementing the Decision to prosecute the criminal case No. 5/QD-CSKT dated June 06, 23, the Investigation Police Agency, the Police of Lao Cai province issued a decision to prosecute the accused, the order to arrest the accused for temporary detention and search warrants at the residence and workplace for a number of related persons.
Specifically, the Lao Cai Provincial Police issued an order to prosecute the accused, arrest the accused for temporary detention and search the residence of Mr. Nguyen Van Vinh, born in 1960; register permanent residence at house number 025, Cu Chinh Lan street, Group 10, Bac Cuong ward, Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province; Former Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman, former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province.
The police of Lao Cai province prosecuted the accused, arrested him for temporary detention and searched the residence of Mr. Doan Van Huong, born in 1956; register permanent residence at group 10, Bac Cuong ward, Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province; Former Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, former Chairman, former Vice Chairman of the People's Committee of Lao Cai province.
The police of Lao Cai province prosecuted the accused, arrested him for temporary detention and searched the residence and workplace for Mr. Ngo Duc Hoang, born in 1974, Specialist of the Department of Planning and Finance, Department of Geology of Vietnam. Nam, under the Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment; register permanent residence at Group 17, Bac Lenh ward, Lao Cai city, Lao Cai province; Currently staying at Room 1505B2, Apartment 505 Minh Khai, Vinh Tuy Ward, Hai Ba Trung District, Hanoi City.
The above accused were prosecuted to investigate the crime of "abusing positions and powers while performing official duties" according to the provisions of Clause 3, Article 281, of the 1999 Penal Code.
The above decisions and orders have been approved by the People's Procuracy of Lao Cai province.
Currently, the Investigation Police Agency, the Police of Lao Cai province are coordinating with the People's Procuracy of Lao Cai province to conduct investigation and clarification in accordance with the law.
