In recent times, activities aimed at raising public awareness about environmental protection and urban aesthetics have been widely implemented by various agencies, departments, and organizations. Environmental protection is no longer just a slogan, but has become a practical action, widely supported and with many effective approaches.

Specifically in Bac Tan Uyen district, for areas with increasing amounts of pesticide-related waste, the district has allocated funds to equip hundreds of containers and collection points to help people conveniently dispose of hazardous waste before releasing it into the environment.

Meanwhile, efforts to maintain environmental hygiene and beautify urban areas have become a widespread movement within the community. The most notable example is Project 02, implemented throughout the province. With this practical and long-term initiative, many streets, neighborhoods, and alleyways have undergone positive changes thanks to the efforts and resources of the local residents themselves – the direct beneficiaries and maintainers of the urban cultural landscape where they live.

Specifically in Tan Uyen City, the intensified dissemination of information about the project has created high consensus, mobilizing the people to contribute to upgrading and installing streetlights on hundreds of roads, contributing labor days; participating in the construction, maintenance, and repair of 18km of roads and 12.5km of canals... with a total contribution value of over 104 billion VND.

Meanwhile, the "Civilized Saturday" movement has spread widely in many communes and wards, helping to raise people's awareness. Now, each family proactively cleans the street in front of their house every day, creating a beautiful appearance for the village roads and alleys.

Meanwhile, in Di An City, residents and businesses have joined hands to renovate hundreds of alleyways, costing billions of VND. This locality is considered one of the places that has achieved many accomplishments in urban beautification and environmental protection.

The increasing emergence of good practices and new initiatives in the environmental protection and urban civilization preservation movement is a welcome sign. This also means that people are always ready to participate in local movements if they are truly practical and meaningful, rather than just slogans that are gradually forgotten after the "peak days" pass.
