Quat Lam Tourist Area has been renamed.

The People's Committee of Ninh Binh province has just decided to rename Quat Lam Tourist Area to Giao Ninh Tourist Area.

On June 17th, Tran Song Tung, Vice Chairman of the Ninh Binh Provincial People's Committee, signed a decision to rename Quat Lam Tourist Area (formerly Giao Thuy District, Nam Dinh Province) to Giao Ninh Tourist Area (formerly Giao Ninh Commune, Ninh Binh Province).

The Quất Lâm beach area has now been renamed Giao Ninh.

According to the decision, the People's Committee of Giao Ninh commune is assigned the direct responsibility of managing, exploiting, and developing the tourist area; protecting tourism resources, preserving the landscape and environment, and ensuring security, order, and safety for tourists.

Local authorities are responsible for facilitating sightseeing and recreational activities, while also promoting the role of local communities in tourism development.
