From the beginning of December 2025 to December 25, 2025, market management teams under the Provincial Market Management Department inspected 73 business establishments in the province, discovering 67 establishments in violation of regulations such as: trading in smuggled goods, goods of unknown origin, goods infringing intellectual property rights, violations regarding product pricing, etc.
For example, Team No. 1 of the Market Management Department (responsible for the area of 4 wards) has inspected 17 establishments from the beginning of December 2025 to the present, and found that all 17 establishments violated regulations in their business operations; confiscating goods worth more than 50 million VND.
According to Mr. Chu Ngoc Ha, Team Leader of Market Management Team No. 1, by the end of 2025, the team had proactively implemented a comprehensive range of inspection and control measures to promptly detect, prevent, and handle violations by individuals and organizations in business activities. Currently, the team is focusing on inspecting items such as clothing, footwear, electronics, and food products. Inspections have been intensified at businesses in key areas and online.
Not only Team No. 1 of the Market Management Department, but other Market Management teams in the province are also conducting comprehensive inspections and controls of business establishments within their jurisdiction. According to the head of the Provincial Market Management Department, from the beginning of December 2025 until now, the provincial Market Management force has mobilized 100% of its personnel and simultaneously implemented measures to monitor and control the market.
Mr. Dang Van Ngoc, Head of the Provincial Market Management Department, stated: "Based on inspections, the situation regarding the trading of goods in the domestic market is becoming increasingly complex towards the end of 2025. To ensure the highest effectiveness in market control, following directives from the Ministry of Industry and Trade, the Provincial People's Committee, and the Department of Industry and Trade, the Provincial Market Management Department has issued and implemented a plan for intensive inspections of business activities and the trading of goods in the market, from December 2025 to the end of February 2026. This will focus on strictly inspecting and controlling business activities related to essential consumer goods and food products."
Currently, market management forces are strengthening control over their managed areas, conducting a comprehensive review of all businesses and individuals operating within their jurisdiction. The focus is on key routes near border crossings and goods collection points, wholesale markets, and commercial centers. Market management teams are developing organizational plans, assigning specific tasks to each team, and ensuring seamless coordination with other forces during inspections.
The decisive involvement of the provincial market management force in inspecting and controlling the market has contributed to preventing smuggled goods, counterfeit goods, and goods infringing intellectual property rights from circulating in the market, thereby contributing to market stability and protecting consumer rights.
