The project is a vivid testament to the profound concern of the Party and State for Khanh Hoa province, creating an important foundation for sustainable development in the western part of the province, contributing to ensuring water security, adapting to climate change, and promoting socio -economic development in the coming period. In the future, to ensure that the Song Cho 1 reservoir and its entire water distribution system fully and effectively achieve their set objectives, I propose that agencies under the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment continue to closely coordinate with the People's Committee of Khanh Hoa province in the handover, operation, and exploitation of the project in accordance with the law; ensuring the safety of the structure and the dam, and maximizing the overall effectiveness of the project. Furthermore, Khanh Hoa province needs to promptly develop and implement a plan for managing, exploiting, and utilizing water resources scientifically, economically, and efficiently; linking the exploitation of the reservoir with the restructuring of the agricultural sector, developing high-tech agriculture, ecological agriculture, and adapting to climate change. At the same time, research should be conducted to exploit the potential for developing ecotourism and experiential tourism associated with the reservoir, in order to enhance the added value of the project.
