(LĐ online) - The People's Committee of Lam Ha district has just issued a plan to organize the collection of opinions from voters representing households on the Project for rearranging administrative units at the provincial and commune levels in the district.

The process of gathering opinions from household representatives is conducted through meetings of household representatives in each village and residential area. The purpose of this consultation is to inform the People's Councils at all levels regarding the rearrangement of administrative units at the provincial and commune levels in Lam Ha district, ensuring transparency, democracy, and compliance with the law.

Accordingly, at the commune level, the process of collecting opinions from household representatives will be completed by April 19, 2025. The People's Committees of communes and towns will compile the results of the household representative voter consultations for each village and residential area, and then summarize the overall results for the entire commune. The People's Committees of communes will report and seek the opinion of the Standing Committee of the Party Committee and the Executive Committee of the Party Committee at the commune level on the results of the household representative voter consultations; simultaneously, they will compile a report for the People's Council at the commune level and the People's Committee at the district level, to be completed by April 20, 2025.

The People's Committees of communes and towns shall advise the People's Councils of communes and towns to implement and announce the convening of meetings of the People's Councils at the commune level to consider and approve the Resolution approving the policy of rearranging administrative units at the provincial and commune levels in the district, to be completed before April 15, 2025. Simultaneously, they shall hold meetings of the People's Councils at the commune level to consider and approve the Resolution approving the policy of rearranging administrative units at the provincial and commune levels; the People's Committees and People's Councils at the commune level shall complete the dossiers and report to the People's Committees at the district level; and the opinion poll forms shall be archived and preserved according to regulations, to be completed by April 21, 2025.

At the district level, the District People's Council will announce the convening of a meeting of the District People's Council to consider and approve a Resolution supporting the policy of rearranging provincial and commune-level administrative units in the district before April 15, 2025. Based on the results of the meeting of the District Party Committee on the Plan for rearranging provincial and commune-level administrative units, the District People's Council will hold a meeting to consider and approve a Resolution supporting the policy of rearranging provincial and commune-level administrative units in Lam Ha district, to be completed before April 26, 2025.

The District People's Committee will compile the opinions of voters representing households throughout the district and report them to the Department of Internal Affairs for consolidation before April 22, 2025.
