Ms. Tran Thi Thu Nguyet - Vice President of the Women's Union of Thang Binh district said that identifying mass mobilization work as an important task, suitable to the characteristics of the gender and the functions of the Union; therefore, the Women's Union of Thang Binh district has built and implemented "Skilled Mass Mobilization" models with specific and practical addresses and methods.

As a typical model in the emulation movement "Skillful mass mobilization", the "Godmother" program has been responded to and participated in by all levels of the Women's Union in Thang Binh district; supported by female cadres, members and philanthropists. Up to now, the Women's Union of Thang Binh district has mobilized and connected to sponsor 320 orphans and children in difficult circumstances, with support amounts ranging from 300,000 VND to 2 million VND/child/month.

In addition, on the occasion of the new school year, the District Women's Union organized the program "Helping children go to school" to give bicycles, ao dai, reward children with excellent academic achievements and visit and give gifts to children in difficult circumstances on holidays and Tet... Thereby helping students have conditions to continue going to school.

Along with the "Godmother" program, the "Smart Mass Mobilization" models in the field of economic development were also launched and replicated by the Women's Union of Thang Binh district, typically the models "Supporting women to develop the economy", "Vietnamese makeup service group" (in Binh Duong commune), "Supporting women to find jobs" (Binh Nam commune), "Supporting women to develop the economy of medicinal plants "Ca gai leo" (Binh Dinh Nam commune), "Linking with households to grow Melaleuca trees" (Binh Sa commune)... Participating in the model, women members are equipped with knowledge in production, business and access to resources for economic development. Every year, through the models, 44 households have been helped to escape poverty and near-poverty sustainably.

“With many creative ways, the “Smart Mass Mobilization” models built by the District Women’s Union have affirmed the important role of women in helping children in difficult circumstances go to school; participating in economic development and poverty reduction. Thereby affirming the role of women not only stops at taking care of family happiness but also spreading good values ​​to the community and society” - Ms. Tran Thi Thu Nguyet said.

Replicating the model of "Skilled Mass Mobilization"

Mr. Phan Thanh Van - Head of the Mass Mobilization Committee of Thang Binh District Party Committee said that the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" was implemented by the district in many forms such as: organizing competitions, performances, seminars, etc. The content of the emulation movement "Skilled Mass Mobilization" was integrated by the Mass Mobilization Committee of the District Party Committee into the lectures of training courses on mass mobilization work to deploy to cadres in agencies, departments, the Front, and socio- political organizations from the district to the grassroots. Thereby, awareness of the role, significance, and importance of mass mobilization work was raised; the responsibilities of sectors, levels, cadres, party members, and people have had positive changes, contributing to making the movement come into life and develop more and more strongly and widely.

Up to now, Thang Binh district has 297 "Smart Mass Mobilization" models operating effectively in various fields. Of these, there are 61 models in the economic field, 154 models in the cultural and social field, 67 models in the national defense and security field and 15 models in the political system building field. Many models have entered social life and become a common movement of the entire political system, receiving the support and response of all classes of people.

Accordingly, in the economic field, there are models such as: "Women of Huong village are good at doing business" (Ha Lam town), "Raising mink and eel" (Binh Que commune), "Raising goat" (Binh Phu commune); in the cultural and social field, there are models: "Collecting scrap to raise funds to help poor and disadvantaged women and children" (Binh Duong commune), "Charity class" (Binh Minh commune); in the defense and security field, there are models: "Adopted children of Border Guard station" (Binh Minh commune), "Security loudspeaker" (Binh Dao commune)...

“In the coming time, the Thang Binh District Party Committee's Mass Mobilization Committee will continue to launch a campaign to register for the construction of models and typical examples of "Skilled Mass Mobilization" suitable to the actual situation in localities, agencies and units. At the same time, widely propagate the meaning, purpose and role of the "Skilled Mass Mobilization" emulation movement on mass media to create a stronger change in awareness and action among cadres, party members, union members, association members and people to participate in implementing the movement" - said Mr. Phan Thanh Van.
