Through various specific methods and approaches, in recent times, units, localities, and officials in the province have linked the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style with the fulfillment of each unit's political tasks. As a result, many effective models of studying and following the President's teachings have emerged in various fields, creating a strong ripple effect among officials and the community.
The dissemination of exemplary models in studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings has been effectively implemented in recent times. The Provincial Party Committee's Propaganda Department issued a plan for media propaganda on studying and following Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style for the period 2021-2025; and a plan for publicizing outstanding examples in "Studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings" for the period 2021-2022 and 2023. Party committees proactively issued plans for propaganda on implementing the study and emulation of Ho Chi Minh's ideology, ethics, and style. For example, the Provincial Media Center concretized its propaganda work through various media products to create widespread impact among cadres, Party members, and all strata of the people. From 2021 to the end of the first quarter of 2023, the Center produced over 300 reports, news articles, and features reflecting the implementation of studying and following President Ho Chi Minh's teachings on its platforms. Highlights include: Exemplary models of "Learning and following Uncle Ho's example"; a seminar program with the theme "Learning from Uncle Ho makes our hearts purer"; a live radio program with the theme "Remembering Uncle Ho's teachings"; special publications: 60 years since Uncle Ho visited the army and people of Co To Island (May 9th); 65 years since Uncle Ho visited Quang Ninh and spoke with the people of Hon Gai town; 60 years since Uncle Ho visited Ngoc Vung Island (Van Don district)...
The team of officials and civil servants in the province are increasingly aware of their responsibility towards Party building in terms of ethics; they emphasize the role, responsibility, and exemplary conduct of cadres and Party members, especially leaders and managers, in their work, self-cultivation, training, and maintaining moral qualities, lifestyle, and work style, fulfilling their individual, unit, and local tasks... Along with that, they actively participate in the Award for creating and promoting literary, artistic, and journalistic works on the theme "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh in the period 2021-2025".
To commemorate the 133rd anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's birth and the 60th anniversary of the province's establishment, the Provincial Party Committee issued Plan No. 183-KH/TU (dated July 11, 2022) on organizing the competition "Studying and following the thoughts, ethics, and style of Ho Chi Minh, arousing the aspiration to build Quang Ninh province into a model province, increasingly prosperous, beautiful, and civilized." Accordingly, the competition had 188 teams at the cluster level; 183 teams at the district level; and 20 teams at the provincial level. The provincial-level competition was completed in mid-May 2023... This is an important political event, contributing to further inspiring each cadre and Party member to promote self-reliance, self-improvement, awareness, responsibility, dedication, creative labor, serving the Fatherland and the people, and continuing to develop the revolutionary cause left by President Ho Chi Minh; Step by step, we are realizing the goal of building and developing Quang Ninh into a model province of the whole country in all aspects; a prosperous, beautiful, civilized, and modern province. From there, we will inspire aspirations and encourage patriotic emulation movements, determined to build Quang Ninh into a prosperous, beautiful, civilized, and modern model province.
In addition, over the past period, the registration of models for learning and following President Ho Chi Minh's example has been diverse across all levels, sectors, and individuals. In each profession and field, there are exemplary collectives and individuals in learning and following President Ho Chi Minh's example. Typical examples include: the model "Mobilizing the people to install security cameras in the area" by the Cam Dong Ward Police (Cam Pha City); the model "Applying science and technology and mechanization in underground coal mining, bringing high efficiency" by Mining Workshop 11 (Vang Danh Coal Joint Stock Company - Vinacomin); and the model "Helping children go to school" by the General Accounting Department, Project Management Board for Transportation Capital (Department of Transport)...
Many individual models have also created a widespread impact. Notable examples include: "Teacher Bui Duc Tien (Co To Secondary School) ignites a passion for scientific research in junior high school students in Co To island district"; "A model captain, daring to think and act, successfully completing his duties" by Major Nguyen Van Hieu, Party Secretary and Captain of Squadron 2 (Provincial Border Guard); "Following Uncle Ho's example in carrying out propaganda and mobilizing the people to effectively control gender imbalance at birth" by Mr. Tran Van Chang (population officer of Phong Du commune, Tien Yen district); "Producing and processing seafood products such as squid and fish cakes" by Mr. Dao Anh Mien (Party member of Party Branch 3, Quang Yen ward, Quang Yen town)...
The emulation movement "Learning and Following Uncle Ho's Example" has been seriously implemented by Party committees, sectors, units, and localities, making a significant contribution to encouraging and replicating exemplary models in all fields. Many good models and innovative approaches have spread widely in social life in the spirit of "Using the good to overcome the bad," "Using the positive to push back the negative"... This contributes to multiplying good things in life; at the same time, it resolutely combats and refutes wrong and hostile viewpoints, contributing to protecting the ideological foundation of the Party; and building a clean, strong, and comprehensive Party organization...
