Sonadezi Chau Duc (SZC) leaders register to divest all shares

VHO - Sonadezi Chau Duc Joint Stock Company (stock code: SZC) recorded a recovery after a strong sell-off in early April, and also recorded that its leaders registered to divest all shares they owned in July 2025.

Ms. Hoang Thi Quy, Director of BOT 768 LLC, a subsidiary of Sonadezi Chau Duc, registered to divest all 33,500 SZC shares to reduce ownership from 0.02% to 0% of charter capital, the transaction is expected to take place from July 1 to July 30.

In terms of business activities, in the first quarter of 2025, Sonadezi Chau Duc recorded revenue of VND 414.23 billion, an increase of 93.8% over the same period, and profit after tax of VND 126.35 billion, an increase of 94.1% over the same period. In which, gross profit margin decreased slightly from 46.1% to 45.5%.

In 2025, Sonadezi Chau Duc plans to have revenue of VND 930.9 billion, a slight increase of 2.2% over the same period, and expected after-tax profit of VND 302.3 billion, a slight increase of 0.1% compared to the actual in 2024.

Of which, revenue from industrial park land leasing was 748.4 billion VND and from civil real estate was 78 billion VND.

Thus, ending the first quarter of 2025 with after-tax profit reaching 126.35 billion VND, Sonadezi Chau Duc has completed 41.8% of the yearly plan.

Sonadezi Chau Duc's Board of Directors also said that the company has signed 03 Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) for leasing industrial park land with a total area of ​​nearly 9.6 hectares in the first quarter of 2025. Meanwhile, the amount of unrecorded backlog as of the end of the first quarter of 2025 (excluding MOUs) is about 15.1 hectares. In total, in 2024, the company has signed 46.4 hectares of MOUs for the industrial park segment.

Regarding the investment plan, Sonadezi Chau Duc plans to spend nearly VND440 billion on basic construction and VND1,200 billion on compensation and site clearance this year. The company aims to receive and hand over a total area of ​​91.5 hectares, including 90 hectares of industrial park land and 1.5 hectares of urban land.

Sonadezi Chau Duc's Board of Directors affirmed that the Chau Duc Industrial Park, Urban Area and Golf Course project, especially the industrial park segment, has long-term appeal to investors and customers thanks to its strategic location and completed infrastructure, especially the Bien Hoa - Vung Tau expressway being implemented, and relatively attractive land rental prices compared to neighboring industrial parks.
