
During a visit to Associate Professor, Doctor Le Chi Dung, former Head of the Department of Musculoskeletal Pathology at the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic and Trauma Hospital, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy expressed her sincere gratitude for the Associate Professor's sustained contributions to the Ho Chi Minh City healthcare sector, particularly in the field of musculoskeletal disorders; and for training and developing the expertise of young doctors.
Comrade Tran Thi Dieu Thuy expressed her wish that Associate Professor, Doctor, and Physician Le Chi Dung would continue to accompany, pass on his experience and dedication to the next generation.
Associate Professor, Doctor Le Chi Dung has made significant contributions to the development of specialized departments in musculoskeletal diseases at the Ho Chi Minh City Orthopedic and Trauma Hospital.
He was a pioneer in combining the two specialties of Anatomical Pathology and Orthopedic Trauma to diagnose and treat highly malignant bone and soft tissue tumors.
He also laid the foundation for the specialty of treating bone tumors – bone cancer – and is renowned for his research and application of bone-preserving surgical techniques for bone cancer patients, helping patients retain their limbs instead of having to undergo amputation as in the past.

Associate Professor, Doctor, and Physician Le Chi Dung has compiled many valuable specialized books and teaching materials, and has trained many generations of excellent orthopedic surgeons for the whole country.
He was awarded the title of People's Physician and received many prestigious medals and decorations for his tireless contributions to saving lives and training.
During a visit to Dr. Truong Thi Kim Dung, former Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Blood Transfusion and Hematology Hospital, Ms. Tran Thi Dieu Thuy highly appreciated Dr. Dung's important contributions to the management and professional development of the blood transfusion and hematology field, especially in ensuring blood transfusion safety and improving the capacity for testing and treating blood diseases for the people of the city and the Southern region.

Comrade Tran Thi Dieu Thuy stated that, in recent times, the city has implemented many preferential policies for the healthcare sector, and many modern hospitals have been put into operation to serve the people.
With the goal of becoming a high-tech medical treatment center, the leaders of Ho Chi Minh City hope that Dr. Truong Thi Kim Dung will continue to leverage her experience and dedication, and work alongside the Ho Chi Minh City health sector in training and inspiring the younger generation.
On the occasion of the Lunar New Year, Comrade Tran Thi Dieu Thuy, on behalf of the city's leadership, wished the family of Dr. Truong Thi Kim Dung good health and continued contributions to the city's healthcare sector.
Dr. Truong Thi Kim Dung has held leadership positions for many years, overseeing important areas of expertise and blood banking.
She is known for her many initiatives in promoting voluntary blood donation, contributing to building a safe and stable blood supply for emergency and treatment purposes in Ho Chi Minh City and the southern provinces.
