After implementing the model of sugarcane cultivation in Phong Quang commune, seeing the effectiveness, Thuy Vinh Bao Company Limited expanded the scale of sugarcane cultivation in Ngoc Linh commune with a total area of ​​25 hectares in Coc Tho and Tan Phong villages. The sugarcane cultivation for export is carried out in the form of people giving up land and labor for care, the rest from land preparation, buying seeds, planting, fertilizing, harvesting are all supported by the company. When the sugarcane is harvested, the company will buy it from the people at a price of 1.2 million VND/ton, the people will receive 100% of the sugarcane sale price. Mr. Pham Vo Quan, Thuy Vinh Bao Company Limited said: “Realizing that Ngoc Linh commune has potential in terms of land and climate, and to take advantage of the land area of ​​people growing inefficient crops but not high economic value, we and the commune have brought sugarcane varieties for planting. Sugarcane is also easy to care for, drought resistant, combined with proper care techniques, it will develop to achieve high quality. Along with that, we bring in machinery to support cultivation to reduce labor for people”.

On the hillsides, people were busy clearing the ground cover and fertilizing the newly planted sugarcane clumps in the hope of a bumper crop. Each person had a job, and we could feel the urgent and exciting atmosphere of work. Mr. Dang Van Hao, Khuoi Kha village, Ngoc Linh commune shared: "The commune brought sugarcane to grow here, creating jobs and income for our people. I personally earn an average of 300,000 - 350,000 VND/day."

Ngoc Linh commune has actively used linkages to expand production scale with the export sugarcane growing model. Building and developing commodity agriculture, mobilizing people to bring new high-quality varieties into production. To develop raw material areas for the processing industry, a close link has been created between enterprises and producers to promote the implementation of a comprehensive agricultural restructuring program in the commune. Comrade Giang Seo Nhi, Vice Chairman of Ngoc Linh Commune People's Committee said: "This is the first year the commune has brought new crops into production, aiming to take advantage of empty hills and ineffective crops to grow high-yield crops. This linkage has also been supported by people because agricultural production in the direction of chain linkage is a sustainable direction".

The expansion of crop areas in the direction of production linkage has been creating many advantages for people, overcoming the situation of fragmented and small-scale production, moving towards the formation of large raw material areas, contributing significantly to the development of agricultural production in a sustainable direction. In the coming time, the commune will continue to plan and create land funds to attract enterprises to invest in large-scale agriculture, apply high technology, contributing to increasing people's income.
