Which stadiums does VAR operate on?
The matches in Round 10, taking place from January 17th to 19th, are expected to be exciting and tense. Video assistant referee (VAR) technology will continue to be used in all Round 10 matches to help ensure fairness in the games…

VAR is very important in the V-League.

On January 17th, two highly anticipated matches took place between four teams all eager to win and move up the standings, escaping the pursuit of the teams below: HAGL FC vs. Ho Chi Minh City FC (5 PM, Pleiku Stadium, VAR) and Binh Duong FC vs. Quy Nhon Binh Dinh FC (6 PM, Binh Duong Stadium, VAR).
The Pleiku-based team had a series of unsuccessful matches before the recent break and gradually dropped to the middle of the table, facing pressure from the bottom teams. Only a victory could help HAGL escape the pursuit of numerous teams behind them.
However, HAGL's opponent is Ho Chi Minh City FC – the team ranked just behind them and needing a win to move up. Similarly, Binh Duong FC – after the boost from their victory in the National Cup – is ready to return to the top of the table when they host Binh Dinh FC. Whichever team wins this match will jump up, pushing their opponent further down the standings.

On January 18th, fans witnessed two other "heated" matches: the clash between Thanh Hoa FC and Ha Tinh FC (6 PM, Thanh Hoa Stadium, VAR) and CAHN FC hosting SLNA FC (7 PM, Hang Day Stadium, VAR). Thanh Hoa FC continues to show its resilience after the league break, having drawn 1-1 against title contender Nam Dinh in the early match of round 12. Their opponent, Ha Tinh, is equally strong, having shown impressive form in their match against CAHN FC in the National Cup. Will home advantage help Thanh Hoa secure all three points and advance further in the championship race?
At Hang Day Stadium, CAHN FC is still persistently pursuing its goal of winning the LPBank V-League championship. The challenge for coach Mano Polking's team is the "unknown quantity" SLNA. This is a young team always ready to create exciting surprises, making even star-studded opponents like CAHN FC need to be cautious.
On January 19th, Round 10 concluded with three intense matches. At Thien Truong Stadium, at 6 PM (with VAR assistance), Nam Dinh FC hosted The Cong Viettel FC. This was a "big battle at the top" between the two teams currently ranked 2nd (Nam Dinh) and 3rd (The Cong Viettel), both possessing strong potential and clear, intense ambitions for the championship.
The home team needs a win to compete and have a chance to overtake Thanh Hoa. The away team needs a win to keep pace with the two aforementioned rivals. A truly fascinating match!

Hanoi FC coach Le Duc Tuan

Will Tuan Hai and Xuan Manh – two AFF Cup champions – bring victory to Hanoi FC?
At 6 PM on the same day, at Hoa Xuan Stadium, Hanoi FC needs to quickly forget their defeat in the National Cup and regain their form to face the home team Da Nang, who are desperately hungry for a win.
The Han River team is currently in a precarious position, sitting at the bottom of the table without a single victory. Da Nang FC has recently undergone changes at the top level, inviting two individuals "with deep knowledge of Hanoi FC": Phan Thanh Hung, a highly successful former Hanoi FC coach, to take on the role of head coach, and Cristiano Roland, a former Hanoi FC player, to join the coaching staff. Therefore, the match is even more exciting, and the final outcome is difficult to predict. Young coach Le Duc Tuan cannot help but worry, especially since Hanoi FC was recently defeated by Dong Thap in the round of 16 of the National Cup. Will his position as head coach be secure?
At 7:15 PM, at the Lach Tray Stadium, Hai Phong FC will host Quang Nam FC. These two teams are ranked next to each other in the standings, both in the bottom group (Quang Nam FC is ranked 11th with 8 points, Hai Phong FC is ranked 12th with 7 points). Both teams need a win to overtake their opponent and escape the relegation zone. Hai Phong FC has the home advantage, but Quang Nam FC is not easily defeated and is very patient in waiting for opportunities… If the home team loses, will coach Chu Dinh Nghiem have to leave his position? This match will also feature VAR.
