According to Globo , Remo has submitted an official offer and negotiations are in their final stages. The 33-year-old midfielder is reportedly set to sign a contract until the end of the 2026 season. If the deal is completed, Lingard will open a new chapter in his career in South America.
Remo have just been promoted to the Brazilian Serie A and are currently 16th after the first three rounds of 2026. The club hopes Lingard's experience will help them stabilize their position in the top league of Brazil. Currently, another former Manchester United player, Memphis Depay, is also playing and shining there.
Having come through the Manchester United academy, Lingard made 232 appearances for the first team. He was loaned out to Leicester, Derby, Birmingham, and Brighton before establishing himself at Old Trafford.
