The incense offering ceremony was meticulously and solemnly prepared.
From early morning, authorities simultaneously deployed forces on all roads leading to the historical site. Traffic flow management was carried out scientifically and flexibly according to the situation. At important intersections, the Provincial Police deployed forces to be on duty, guiding people attentively and promptly handling any arising situations, ensuring the smooth movement of pilgrims without localized traffic congestion.
Notably, the organization of the incense offering ceremony – the most important ritual of the main festival day – was meticulously and solemnly prepared. Every detail, from offerings and costumes to the procession formations and program script, was carefully reviewed to ensure solemnity and adherence to traditional rituals.

A group of descendants of Lac Hong, dressed in traditional attire, ascended Nghia Linh mountain to perform the incense offering ceremony at the Upper Temple.
At exactly 7:00 AM, amidst the solemn atmosphere of ceremonial music echoing through the mountains and forests, the delegation of Party and State leaders, along with representatives from the Phu Tho Provincial Party Committee, People's Council, and People's Committee, solemnly performed the incense offering ceremony at the Upper Temple. The procession started from the foot of the mountain and proceeded to the summit of Nghia Linh. Leading the way was the honor guard carrying the national flag, ceremonial banners, and wreaths. Following behind were young women in red ao dai (traditional Vietnamese dress) carrying incense and flowers, along with descendants of Lac Hong in traditional attire, holding high ceremonial banners. Offerings such as banh chung (square sticky rice cake) and banh giay (square sticky rice cake), associated with the legend of Lang Lieu, were respectfully presented, reminding us of the philosophy of the round sky and square earth, and the origins of our millennia-old culture.

From early morning, a large number of people from all over the country flocked to wait for the moment they could light incense for King Hung.

They carry with them joy, happiness, and pride in being descendants of King Hung.
At that moment, not only those directly participating in the ceremony but also tens of thousands of people standing below shared the same emotion. Many silently clasped their hands, facing the Upper Temple, and lit incense sticks as a token of their reverence. The resonance of faith, tradition, and national spirit created a sacred space, connecting the past with the present and fostering willpower for the future.

Security measures have been tightened.

At the checkpoints, people received enthusiastic guidance and support from the authorities.
Following the incense offering ceremony, crowds continued to flock to the temples and pagodas within the historical complex. Despite the large number of visitors, thanks to thorough preparation, the festival proceeded in an orderly and disciplined manner. Pathways were clearly marked, with continuous guidance from staff, minimizing crowding and pushing. Services for tourists were strictly controlled, with prices publicly displayed, contributing to a civilized and healthy festival environment.

Medical personnel are always on standby, ready to assist people who are exhausted due to the hot weather.
According to the Provincial Police, ensuring security and order during the Hung Temple Festival is a key task, contributing to maintaining the solemn and safe image of a cultural and spiritual event of special significance to the entire nation.
The police force proactively developed and implemented protection plans early and from a distance; mobilized maximum personnel and resources, and coordinated closely with relevant departments, agencies, and local authorities to organize traffic flow, control security, prevent crime, and promptly handle any arising situations.

At the Lower Temple area, Mr. Nguyen Van Hoa, a resident from Nam Dinh province, shared: “Every year I try to arrange to come to Hung Temple during this time. This year there are a lot of people, but I find everything very well organized, convenient to get around, and there is no longer the crowding like before. In the solemn atmosphere, everyone is conscious of maintaining order, so I feel very moved and proud to be here to offer incense.”
According to the Organizing Committee, this year's incense offering ceremony in Phu Tho province was prepared with the highest goal of maintaining the solemnity of the ritual and creating an exemplary festival. Plans for traffic, security, healthcare, and the environment were all implemented synchronously, contributing to enhancing the image of Hung Temple in the hearts of the people and tourists.

Environmental sanitation at the festival was carried out rigorously.
It is noteworthy that throughout the main festival, the element of civilized conduct was emphasized. Images of people queuing in an orderly manner, not littering, and showing consideration for each other while moving around became common. This is not only the result of propaganda and mobilization efforts but also reflects a positive shift in the community's awareness of preserving traditional cultural values.

At the festival, many lively activities took place, attracting a large number of people.
Sharing her feelings upon attending the Hung Kings Commemoration Day at Hung Temple for the first time, Ms. Tran Thu Ha, a tourist from Hanoi, emotionally said: “Standing in this sacred space, I feel a strong connection to my roots. Each incense stick offered is not only an expression of reverence for our ancestors but also a reminder for Vietnamese people, wherever they are, to always remember their homeland and preserve their national identity. This is truly a sacred and proud experience.”

Information and guidance activities are continuously implemented at the festival to support people anytime, anywhere.
Hung Kings Commemoration Day is not only a traditional ceremony and a journey back to Hung Temple, but also a journey back to our roots, to the enduring values that have shaped our national identity over thousands of years of history.
The solemnity of each ritual, the meticulous organization, and especially the civilized spirit of the people contributed to a complete and meaningful festival season. From this, the message "Drinking water, remember the source" was not only reiterated but also expressed through concrete actions, through the pride and responsibility of each individual towards their homeland and country.
In the modern era, these values become even more precious, serving as a spiritual foundation for the Vietnamese people to continue moving forward on the path of development and integration while preserving the essence of their age-old culture.

Returning to their ancestral land, people bring offerings and incense sticks to express their gratitude and remembrance of their roots.
