Two intense semi-final matches revealed.

The 2026 International TNSV semi-finals are definitely worth watching.

On the afternoon of April 1st, the final matches of groups A and B took place at Nha Trang University Stadium, determining the four teams that will advance to the semi-finals of the 2026 International Youth and Student Football Tournament - THACO Cup.

In Group A, the National University of Malaysia impressively defeated Nha Trang University with a score of 2-0, thanks to a brilliant performance by Izrin Bin Ibrahim.

The midfielder wearing the number 11 jersey opened the scoring in the 7th minute with a powerful free-kick from 25 meters, giving goalkeeper Ho Hoang Thinh no chance to save it. Continuing the momentum, Izrin Bin Ibrahim scored the second goal in the 18th minute with a shot from a tight angle, leaving center-back Nguyen Thanh Tay unable to prevent the goal despite retreating to the goal line.

By defeating the host team, the National University of Malaysia secured a place in the semi-finals as the top team in Group A. They had the same 3 points as Nha Trang University, but the Malaysian team ranked higher due to a better goal difference (+1 compared to 0). Thus, the two semi-final spots in Group A went to the National University of Malaysia and Nha Trang University.

In Group B, the Water Resources University, despite using their B team, still secured a resounding 3-0 victory against Svay Rieng University (Cambodia). Coach Vu Van Trung's team topped the group with a perfect 6 points, scoring 7 goals and conceding only 2.

The Water Resources University has showcased the class of a champion in the TNSV THACO Cup 2026, being the only team to have won all their matches in the 2026 International TNSV tournament so far. With 7 goals, the Water Resources University also boasts the strongest attack in the tournament.

In the first semi-final match , the National University of Malaysia (1st in Group A) will face the University of Svay Rieng (2nd in Group B). The match will take place at 2 PM on April 3rd.

In the second semi-final match , the Water Resources University (first in Group B) will face Nha Trang University (second in Group A). The match will take place at 4 PM on April 3rd.

Therefore, the final will certainly be a showdown between a Vietnamese representative and a foreign representative, just like last season. This is a "dream" ending for the 2026 International Student Sports Tournament - THACO Cup.
