Casemiro is starting to consider a new club. |
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that David Beckham's team wants to create another "blockbuster" signing in MLS. Therefore, Inter Miami plans to bring the Brazilian star to the US to play as early as summer 2026.
Casemiro is open to the prospect of joining the Florida team, where he could play alongside Lionel Messi. The 34-year-old midfielder's midfield control and top-level experience are considered a good fit for the tactical system built by coach Javier Mascherano. However, the final agreement largely depends on financial terms.
Inter Miami isn't the only team pursuing Casemiro. The midfielder is currently receiving offers from European clubs as well as wealthy teams in the Saudi Pro League. However, the opportunity to reunite with Messi in a less stressful environment, coupled with the allure of life in the US, could be a major advantage for the MLS club.
On Manchester United's side, Casemiro's journey at Old Trafford is coming to an end. Despite a resurgence in form towards the end of the season, the former Real Madrid star confirmed his decision to leave. He shared that he enjoyed his time in Manchester, but admitted that the final matches would be very emotional.
The two sides reached an agreement to remove the automatic renewal clause in the contract, which would have been activated if Casemiro started 35 Premier League games. This helps the "Red Devils" avoid paying his £350,000-a-week salary for another season, while also giving manager Michael Carrick more flexibility in using his players.
