After starting construction, the construction units encountered difficulties with sand sources, leading to slow progress.
By the end of 2023, the shortage of basic sand will be resolved, along with capital being allocated promptly, so contractors will speed up progress to the maximum. Currently, over 25% of the total construction volume has been reached, reaching the approved schedule.
It is expected that the Ho Chi Minh City Ring Road 3 project through Long An province will open the highway section in October 10.2025 and be completed in 2026.
